The Shaler Area Rotary supports its community through its members who are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio.
The Shaler Titanbots, an elementary school team were provided a donation to help subsidize their team shirts!

We really enjoyed our visit with the kindergarten class at Marzolf Primary school and we were happy to donate books to the children to support a really cool literacy project. The students had the opportunity to meet a local author, (and Rotarian), Tamara Girardi. Each student received an autographed copy of her book “Why, Daddy?
The Shaler Rotary Club held a successful blood drive for the American Red Cross with over 35 donors supporting the cause. We had a fantastic Rotary meeting at the Mastic Trail Brewery and we enjoyed the company of of our guest speakers, Amanda and Brian, who introduced us to a great non profit that serves disabled veterans with emotional and physical therapy through fly fishing.
