Shaler Area Rotary club teamed up with Variety the Children’s Charity to donate an adaptive bike to a local child. The presentation took place at the University of Pittsburgh.

Mt Royal VFW 9199 hosted Boy Scout Troop 138 who did a fantastic job with a flag retirement ceremony. Many of the flags were collected by the Shaler Area and Northern Allegheny Rotary clubs. It was a great collaboration among three great organizations.
Rotarian Matt Schlegel was awarded a Paul Harris Fellow in recognition of his service as a past president of the Shaler Area Rotary club and for his numerous contributions and community service efforts in our community.

The Shaler Rotary club was joined by the Cub Scouts of Troop 157 and pulled them on the Rotary District 7300 Float in the annual Shaler Area Homecoming parade
The Shaler Area Rotary club was happy to commit $5000 to the North Hills Community Outreach to support their relief efforts in Millvale.
