We welcomed two guests at the March evening meeting at Le Thai Café. Heather Robinson from Hugh O’Brien Youth leadership organization( also known as HOBY) shared with us her personal experience going to this program as a high school student in 2002 and how it positively changed her life. So much so, that she continues to volunteer her time organizing and fundraising for the program. HOBY is a non-profit organization that provides with unique leadership training, service-learning and motivation-building experiences for High School sophomores – See more at: http://www.hoby.org/about/what-is-hoby#sthash.566yebia.dpuf. In addition, Dom Perrotte from the Sharpsburg-Aspinwall Rotary, joined us to keep up his 45 years of perfect attendance!
It was a great evening and Jack and Florine tried Thai food for the first time.
